LeafLore
Concept for a Google Course
LeafLore is a responsive website and app that helps customers diagnose issues with their houseplants.
Problem
Many houseplant issues may go unrecognised by enthusiasts, particularly those that are less common or difficult to identify. Additionally, providing support for individuals with colour blindness to easily detect changes in plant colouration is essential for accurate plant care.
Goal
Find a solution that can help plant owners identify the issues they have with their houseplants through the use of machine learning.

Frustrations
• He isn’t able to fully identify the colour changes on the leaves of his houseplants.
Keiki is a 27 year-old accountant, who recently moved out of his parents home. He loves to play rugby on the weekend and hang out with his mates from university. He found himself enjoying tending to plants, it’s both decorative and therapeutic. Keiki has colour blindness, so he finds it difficult to identify colour changes in his plants until it’s too late.
